MINDFUL WALKING AND GUIDED MEDITATION
Join us in a guided mindful walk and meditation evening up on Skipton (Shortbank) Moor, for Skipton Wellness Week.
We will begin our evening meeting at 6:30PM at the base of the moor – right at the top of Shortbank Road. We will then walk together up towards the trig point (or wooded area if it’s raining!), breathing deeply and taking time to be present with nature, listening to and feeling our surroundings.
Once at the trig point/wooded area, we will sit for a guided meditation with our founder Ebru Evrim, overlooking the incredible 360% view of the moors surrounding.
This is sure to be an incredible evening, which will leave you feeling calm, refreshed and connected to yourself and to nature. The walk is not too hard but is steep to get to the wonderful views, so please prepare yourself for this!
What to bring: walking boots/trainers, comfortable clothes to walk in, a bottle of water, a raincoat if concerned about the weather!
* please note, this event will continue whatever the weather (except exceptional circumstances!) so please be prepared for this – if you would like to bring something to sit on for meditation, please do!
